pouting, yeah!
Bups helped MomMom mix up a chocolate pound cake. He stood in a chair and played with the yutty stupps in the sink while MomMom used the mixer... he was so helpful, MomMom had to ask him to please don't help so much, and no we don't need that in our cake, and please don't turn the water on while the faucet is over the mixing bowl...

SOMEBODY got mad at MomMom because he was not able to keep playing with the yutty stupps in the kitchen sink after we were finished with the batter. So he went to the living room and pitched a fit and then crouched down behind the trunk...

...to pout...
...until he got so absorbed in Muppets Take Manhattan that he forgot to keep pouting...

taking a shower is too much fun
I love that you can see a molar in this picture because Quinn has his mouth open SO WIDE. He was having so much fun.
I kept trying to get him to get out from the direct line of water, but he wouldn't have it. Usually when I get water in his face I wipe it with a washcloth, so since he had so much water in his face, he HAD to hold a washcloth.

so busy this morning
Quinn ate his cereal with a spoon... mostly, anyway.

Then he found some stickers in a box and pulled all of them off of the sheet and put them on the floor.

Next he climbed up on the Ikea chair and played for a while...
Then I tld him what a beautiful job he had done putting the stickers on the floor, and how proud of him I was for being so creative and helping decorate. So he glared at me and stomped over to the stickers and began pulling them up... and he stuck them back in the box where he found them.
We had a busy rest-of-the-day, too, but we didn't stop to take pictures of that. He helped MomMom work on planning stuff. He uncapped and recapped a felt tip pen about three hundred times. And he spent half an hour sticking the Crayola Twistable Colored Pencils (all 30 of them) in pouches and pockets in my Bible case. (Actually, he did that four different times during the day for a grand total of just about an hour and a half...)
He also tried to fall off the bed and break his neck, but I caught his arm and pulled so that he just sort of slide down the side. AAAGGGHHH. Eventually we decided we weren't getting enough done, so we cleaned off his bookcase. It's beautiful. I should take a picture of that...
